• Cervical Extra RibsAn extra rib above the first rib, often associated with nerve or blood vessel compression.

• Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (TOS)A condition where nerves or blood vessels are compressed between the collarbone and first rib, causing arm pain, weakness, or numbness.

• Slipping Rib SyndromeAlso known as clicking rib, displaced ribs, rib tip syndrome, nerve nipping, painful rib syndrome, or interchondral subluxation. Caused by hypermobility or subluxation of the lower ribs, often leading to sharp or intermittent pain.

• Costochondritis / Tietze SyndromeInflammation of the cartilage connecting the ribs to the sternum, resulting in sharp chest pain, sometimes confused with heart-related pain.

• Thoracic Endometriosis SyndromeA rare but serious condition where endometrial tissue grows in the chest cavity, often causing cyclical chest or shoulder pain.
